Additional Information about Program
Dr. Matthew Grossman has trained Advanced Endoscopy Fellows in New Jersey since 2017, which is the longest-running advanced endoscopy training program in New Jersey. Dr. Grossman serves as program director for the general GI fellowship as well, and has dedicated his carreer to academic education of endoscopy. He has a robust case load comprised of the most challenging endoscopic cases. Unlike other training programs, Dr. Grossman will allow fellows to perform the procedures, after a brief observation period, in order to optimize their endoscopic techniques. Fellows can expect to perform dozens of POEM procedures, ESDs, bariatrics, therapeutic EUS and ERCP as well as double balloon enteroscopy, as well as novel endoscopic therapies.
Patients are seen in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Fellows will have the opportunity to teach the general GI fellows present in the hospital and clinic settings.
