     1. Prior to appointment in the advanced endoscopy fellowship, fellows should have completed a three-year ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship

Additional Information about Program

The mission of our Advanced Therapeutic Ednoscopy Fellowship at The Ohio State Wexner Medial Center is to prepare a fellow for a career in academic advanced therapeutic endoscopy. This includes preparation that will result in clinical excellence, leadership in endoscopic research, as well as the ability to train future endoscopists in advanced techniques.

Clinical Goals:
1. The fellow will participate in and develop competence in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and edoscopic ultrasound. They will also gain exposure to a wide variety of other advanced endoscopic procedures including, but not limited to, endoscopic mucosal resection, enteral stents, radiofrequency ablation of Barrett's esophagus and balloon enteroscopy.

2.The fellow will work with the entire advanced endoscopy faculty to gain exposure to several approaches and techniques for the aforementioned procedures.

3.The fellow will perform pre-procedural consults as well as perform post-procedure rounds to provide appropriate follow
