Additional Information about Program
A fourth-year fellowship dedicated to ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound and GI Oncology will begin July 1, 2026. Applicants are required to complete a formal three-year, ACGME-accredited gastroenterology fellowship.
The qualified fellow will have the opportunity to perform more than 600 EUS procedures with FNA & FNI, and associated interventional techniques along with participation in advanced ERCP techniques, including intraductal ultrasound, cholangioscopy, laser lithotripsy, confocal endomicroscopy along with endoscopic mucosal resection and luminal stenting and third space endsocopy including POEM and ESD .
Besides clinical training, the chosen fellow is also expected to pursue scholastic activities, including participation in multidisciplinary conferences and research projects related to endoscopic techniques and outcomes. The fellowship includes a highly competitive salary. Faculty involved in the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship is Gulshan Parasher, MD, Amal Shine MD and George Holman MD. The program was established 15 years ago by Dr. Parasher and has graduates working in academic medicine and private practice.
